New PostOctober 23 - Leaves Are Falling

It's that time of year... Some trees are bare while others are still totally green. In Connecticut we used to rent a big blower for a day because the leaves were just left on the curb and then the town would come with a big vacuum truck and suck them up. Each section of town had to be done by a certain date.

Here in Western MA we have to bag them in huge paper bags and they are picked up with the trash every two weeks throughout the month of November.

We wait until they are all down before we attack the raking. And man that is coming soon.
