New PostMarch 3 - Like A Lion

New Post

Snow Day. Sooo...by the time Mother Nature was finished with her massive bout of diarrhea, the ground got covered with thirteen inches of the white shit. Where there was no snow, there is now snow. Where there were no snowbanks, they are now nearly as tall as I am (again). Where I finally was able to take trash to the can in my slippers, I now need to tug on boots again. Where the days were warming up a bit, temperatures have once again dropped to the shivering stage.

Tomorrow the oil man cometh. Thankfully this will be the last 150 gallon delivery of the year. Yay!

The naked trees are so very cool looking in late October - November. Snow is awesome in November and December. By mid January all of it is enough. By February one starts to get anstsy, and by now..well...you're just plain old done with it.

You want fresh air coming through open windows. You want to be outside without freezing your ass off. You want to shed the bulky outerwear. To quote what turbo-tot used to say when he was barely two..."Done, done".
