March 9 - Spring Is Coming!

Ahhhhhh! Warmer days and plenty of sunshine assures us that spring is near. FINALLY! While we can't say we had much of a winter it has seemed loooong. And I am very antsy waiting for the day when I can open windows and have some warm fresh air filling the house.

I enjoyed a wonderful bike ride with my nephew yesterday after school while at my sister's house. Peddling around wearing a light jacket, wind in my face for the first time since Fall felt so wonderful! I am so happy to retire the bulky winter jacket and gloves and remove the lightweight jackets from their hangers where they have hung all winter without use.

And hey, this Sunday we turn our clocks ahead giving us more hours light! Weeeeeehaa! I'm sure the majority of people in cold weather climates are as ready as I am. So many places have had so much snow, there's been a lot of sickness about during this winter, and everyone is more than ready to just get out there and enjoy the warmth and sunshine.

Oh Spring hurry up! I am ready to welcome you with open arms.
