New PostMarch 29 - From The Kitchen

Running though my mind as I made dinner... We wash our hands before cutting up raw chicken right? In thinking about that I'm wondering why? I mean we perform acrobatic acts to avoid touching anything when our hands have touched raw chicken.

I mean I turn on the faucet with my wrist or forearm so I can wash the 'I've touched raw chicken' crap off. And we have to be so diligent with poultry after we've touched it, that it really makes me wonder why we bother with the hand washing prior to touching it. (And yes, I shall always wash before touching it....I'm just sayin'.....)

Secondly. Do the people that package iceberg lettuce have a vendetta against the rest of us? Seriously, do you carefully try to get that damn bag open or do you just rip into it? Me? I rip into it. There must be some secret code to opening them perfectly, and I haven't yet been informed.

Thirdy. The onions are out to get me. Period.
