July 4 - Calm And Quiet
A calm and quiet 4th of July. Nothing going on here today. I'm getting some much needed and appreciated down time and getting some 'me time' after a busy last week and in anticipation of an even more busy next week.
A BBQ can be thrown any old time, so around here the party throwing follows the flow. When times are busy the potential quiet time edges out the crowd gathering by a large margin. When life slows down a bit and energy levels have re-charged the party throwing can commence.
It's what happens when you hit this middle aged thing. You just can't go go go like the energizer bunny that you once were. You have to fall back and re-group, and that is exactly what I am doing today. Chillin', some PC time with an occasional word search puzzle thrown into the mix. (You know you're getting old when happiness is a puzzle book and a pen?)
